Installation

  1. Login as Administrator on the site collection you want to configure to host the Timewax Project Portals. For example:<https://>yourtenant. sharepoint.com
  2. Click Site Content in the Quick Launch menu to open the content of your site.
  3. Click Add app to open the application list. The Project Portals for Timewax Service add-in is visible in this list when it is correctly added to the app catalog:
  4. View the request and click Trust to activate the Project Portals for Timewax Service add-in in the site collection. (This may take several minutes)
  1. Login (as Administrator) on the site collection that you want to configure to host your Timewax Project Portals. For example:<https://>yourtenant.sharepoint.com
  2. Verify that the project portals for Timewax add-in has been purchased and activated on your site collection and that the required add-in service is installed correctly:
  3. On the Quick Launch menu, click theProject Portals link for Timewax. This step verifies that the required add-in service is installed and starts the installation Wizard:
  4. Click Start Installation button to start the installation of the add-in Project Portals for Timewax. During installation, the current site collection is configured to host your Project Portals. Current settings can be customized and new lists, content types and formatting are created or modified for proper operation of the add-in. The installation may take several minutes.

Using Project Portals for Timewax

  1. Navigate to the site collection that you have configured to host the project portals:
  2. Click on the settings icon to set the Timewax connection:
  3. Click Reset Timewax connection to re-configure a connection to your Timewax project administration:
  4. Enter your Timewax email address and password and click Login. A Timewax consent message is shown:
  5. Click allow to give the add-in access to your Timewax project data. When the connection is successfully configured, the following screen will be displayed:
  6. You can now start creating Project Portals for Timewax!
  1. Navigate to the site collection that you have configured to host the project portals:
  2. Click New Project Portal to start the Portals Creation wizard. The list of projects is retrieved from Timewax and shown in the wizard:
  3. Find the right project for which you want to create a project portal. Optionally, you can specify a description or create an Exchange mailbox by selecting Create mailbox for this project :
  4. Click Create new Project portal to create the portal. (This may take several minutes). You can close this window during installation. When the portal is ready, it will be visible in the portal overview on the landing page of your Project Portals for Timewax site collection.
  5. Your project portal has been created. You can start collaborating now:
